Our promise

Every feature is free for 90 days from the day you join. Here is what you can count on.

• Free for 90 days. No card needed. While free, you can have up to 6 plans of up to 150 lines each.
• Early members keep one plan free for life. If you join while early membership is open, one plan stays free after your 90 days, with every feature.
• Pro is $7 a month per project manager, with no limits. Nobody is charged without choosing Pro first, and you can cancel any time.
• Nothing is deleted. After your 90 days, plans you don't keep free or on Pro become view only. You can still open, export and share them.
• 30 days' notice. If anything changes that affects you, you hear by email at least 30 days ahead.
• Your data stays yours. Your projects are private to your workspace. Nobody outside it sees them, and we never sell them or use them to train AI models.
• Export any time. Settings › Data and backup › Export all data downloads everything in one file.
• Delete any time. The workspace owner can delete the workspace in Settings. It is gone at once, and gone from backups within 30 days.
• Takt is new. Expect the odd rough edge or outage. Takt is backed up daily, but keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose.

Terms

These terms are between you and Takt-Labs LLC, an Oregon limited liability company ("we"), which runs Takt.

1. Who can use Takt. You must be 18 or older. You use Takt for your own work or your employer's; if you use it for an employer, you confirm you may put that work in Takt.
2. Your account. Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at hello@takt-labs.com if you think someone else got in.
3. Your content. What you put in Takt stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to store, back up and show it to the people in your workspace. We don't sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models.
4. Workspace owners. The owner invites and removes people, sets Editor and Viewer roles, and can export or delete the workspace. Deleting it removes everyone's access to it.
5. Fair use. Don't break the law with Takt, try to get into other workspaces, overload the service, or resell it.
6. Plans and prices. Takt is free for 90 days from the day you join, then free for one plan if you are an early member, or Pro. We may change Takt or its prices with 30 days' notice by email. Before any paid plan starts, you choose whether to pay; nothing is charged by default.
7. Paying for Pro. Pro is paid through Stripe, which may sell it to you as the merchant of record, adds any sales tax, and shows its own terms at checkout. Pro renews each month until you cancel. Cancel any time in Settings › Account › Manage billing; Pro stays on to the end of the month you paid for, then your plans follow the free rules above. We don't refund part months, but write to us if something went wrong and we'll make it right. If a payment fails, Stripe tries again for a while before Pro ends. We never see or keep your card number.
8. No warranty. Takt is provided "as is". We try hard to keep it running and backed up, but we don't promise it is error-free or always available.
9. Limit of liability. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost profits or indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to $100.
10. Ending. You can stop any time and delete your workspace. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why.
11. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA.
